Seattle could have in the 2nd and 3rd period played their 3rd and 4th lines to get them some time and game experience for the upcoming playoffs, but the classless Totems don't know any better. No, what they wanted to do was thoroughly embarrass the Wranglers which they succeeded in doing. Consequently, I can do nothing more than root for any other team that plays against the Totems. I believe in "karma" and the Totems will get their due - someday.
Bright spots? There were two maybe three, one the goal by Chance Robison (assisted by Riemersma) to avoid the complete shut-out. Way to go Chance. And two, the quick fight between Chase and Seattle's Vandermoon. Chase landed at least 4 good punches on Vandermoon before he - fortunately for him - slipped to the ice. Otherwise I think Chase would have tried to "start the lawnmower" on Vandermoon. Decision Chase. Way to go Josef. Again, at least there was some honor. Finally, I don't condone check's from behind, but Bricksler provided a bit of payback to Shulze for him chipping his tooth in last night's game. The typically classless Totems threatened Bricksler when his penalty was over so the ref gave Bricksler a game suspension. It probably should have been the other way around, suspend Shulze for the threat.
Besides those events, the game was almost too painful to watch. Gayet had some good saves, but then again not. Seattle's forwards of Pauly, (the arrogant little prince) Shulze, and Stombaugh completely out played almost all of the Wranglers. Even when the Wranglers had a 5 on 3 powerplay the Totems managed a shot on the Wranglers goal, and the Wranglers had a tough time trying to get the puck out of the zone. As last night, I saw too many times Wranglers standing with "air guitar" sticks, afraid to make a hit, standing around not helping the "D", and letting Totems skate right in and get position in front of the net. Again, it was almost too painful to watch, but I watched the game to the bitter end.

Now I think I'm ready for the season to end.
